I'm in, but I'll probably have to auto-draft

Make sure you pre-rank your players.

This will be my first shot at fantasy football (I've been playing Baseball for years, so I think I'll catch on), so I'll stick with the preranks for now

9th pick can be nice. Being stuck in the middle is my least favorite. They all have their advantages, though.

I can't believe I got the 7th pick. There's a huge dropoff there IMO.

There is a drop off and I usually only like picking in the bottom part if I am going to be number 10.  With that said, I am going to make use of the number 8 pick to the best of my ability.

That was my team.  Why would he make a team with that name? I was mocking America's Drug Abusers with my team name.

Unfortunately, I slept through the draft. :? I ended up with the worst receiving corps imaginable.  Sidney Rice and Ronald Curry?  It's like some fat, Indian man who hadn't eaten in a while drafted my team.

I'm happy with Hasselbeck/Gore/Portis, though.

Have fun watching your guys catch passes from Tarvaris Jackson and JaMarcus Russel....or not.

I'm pretty happy with my team but I'd like an upgrade at WR (I'm lookin at you, Ronny).

I pick Tom Brady #2 in the draft and he goes out injured in the first half of the opener.

Their OL sucks. It's impossible to run an offense effectively without a good OL.

I'm doing really well in the FFTOC contest, where you can only use a player & Def/Spec one game for the entire season.  Roethlisberger, Thomas Jones, Michael Turner, Roy Williams, Jerricho Cotchery all have one or more TDs for me, and Phil Akers is my kicker this week.  Galloway has yards but just missed a TD pass.  (Anyone who took Willie Parker has to be happy.)

I took Dallas Clark at TE and San Diego at Def/Spec, which are the 4:15 pm games.

Tom Brady scores me 3 lousy points, which should hand the win to ronnynats, (who lost a WR in warmups.)
 :worship:  :worship:
The Norv-Turner-coached Philip Rivers would have gotten me 20 points.

I thought Brady had the ability to miraculously self-heal.  Maybe he can only heal others.

Marion Barber was lighting it up and then went down with a bruised rib cage or something. I'm glad I picked up Chris Johnson, but he hurt his leg too. Roethlisberger has a sore shoulder. Ocho Cinco is a bum, and Steven Jackson may be on the worst team in the league.

And I'm still gonna beat all your candy asses.

My BENCH has scored more points than my active STARTERS in NFL Week 2!  I foolishly went with Cassel, thinking Denver might bottle up Philip Rivers, who now looks Norv-Turner-trained on passing.  And picked up Sammy Morris at flex and BENCHED Anquan Boldin... and his 3 TDs, 140 yds, 32 pts [sniff, sniff]

Some of us kept players on Hurricane Bye in their Active lineup.

sportsfan882 has FORGOTTEN that he HAS a WNFF fantasy NFL team, with Colston out injured for one month, but still starting for him. spidernat has a huge lead over sportsfan this week.

For NFL Week 2, spidernat had the high score of the week with 101.  His top 2 point sources were the Green Bay Defense/Special Team at Detroit, and Seattle's RB (Cowboys castoff) Julius Jones, who rushed 26 times for 127 yards and a TD, plus 3 receptions for 14 yards.  They got more points than his QB, Peyton Manning...

I'm not in this league, but look at my RBs

Westbrook
Willie Parker
Matt Forte
Felix Jones

I haven't even started Jones because I don't need him
