Hopefully he goes on a tear this month and gets packaged in a trade. I'm growing weary of watching him play.

Kearns and Willy Mo are Bowden's Viagra.

Neither will be traded.

I don't want him here. I just don't want him on the field. No one is looking at him at 1B. Let him catch the first three innings some nights, or pinch hit occasionally. You aren't highlighting a 5'7" righty by showing him at 1B.

You guys must really want Lo Duca to stay here. I wouldn't consider Orr much of an upgrade anyways.

I'll take Orr all day everyday over Walnuts.  Much better defense, speed, and intangibles.

But a pretty terrible hitter. And he doesn't play 1B.

He's played 1B here, hasn't he? If not, move Casto to 1B, Guzman to 3B, and let Flop play short.

Ronnie Ballgame is just an awful defensive 2B.

I understand not liking Lo Duca because there are far better players out there, but why all of this hate towards him where you'd rather have Lopez and/or Orr in the lineup?

The old intangibles.

Nah, what happened?

They said Dukes won't be back until at least late August but Milledge begins rehab assignment tomorrow in the GCL. If everything goes well he should be back by the time the Nats return home.

Gotcha. I never do that w/ players. All I care about is what they do on the field and how they compare to other players. The rest is their business, IMO. Unclutch players sure do piss me off.

sort of off-topic, but I just went over to sportstalk980's website and its been changes to "Redskins Radio." It lists three stations in its graphic, none of them being 980 AM. The lineup is almost completely ESPN radio, if the web site is to be believed. No Sports Reporters. No John Thompson.

I hope it was just an overly ambitious en-masse web site upgrade and not a reflection of their lineup.

That's awesome news. Ever since the injury happened, I didn't expect Dukes to be back this season.

I heard they are altering the on air programming. John Riggins show has been canceled.

Glad to hear Milledge is close to rehabbing. This clown car needs all the help it can get.

EDIT: NJ is saying Zimmerman might be back Tuesday. Thank the gods.

Good. I'm not sure what The Danny's hurry was. He could have fixed it before he posted it.

I wonder if they'll keep doing Os games.
