Well congratulations to my Nats on their first victory of the season! And a great one to take after Monday's ball-buster of a loss. Haven't been around for a long time (life's been hectic with my first year of law school), but one of the joys of living in Chicago now is that I can actually watch the games, thanks to MLB TV. Which means I got to see Mets "catcher" Paul LoDuca make two comical errors in a row to turn the 10th-inning bleeding into a massacre.
I like what I'm seeing from Vidro; I don't want to say he looks like he might be healthy again, because that's just bad luck, but...well, you know.
Patterson's performance didn't look great, but actually wasn't all that bad either: 4 runs on 4 hits is bad, but 7 Ks isn't.
And get a load of that kid Zimmerman!
