We now have sole possession of the worst record in baseball and the strangle-hold on the #1 pick in the 2009 MLB Draft.

We should draft a physician or a surgeon, it would be more useful at this point than a left handed pitcher.

If we don't lose 100 games now...I don't know if it'd even be a bad thing. I feel like the distinction of being the worst team in baseball may be the only thing that gets our brass of their balls to actually do something about the state of this lineup. Not to mention there's nothing wrong with having the No. 1 pick...look at the Rays.

Thanks to the baseball gods' munificent blessings of injury after injury upon all our "youth movement", we should have no trouble winning the number one pick and drafting ... another pitcher.

I doubt Detwiler will ever get there, but even if it's somebody else - imagine a rotation where John Lannan is the #4. That's friggin' insane.

look, i'm just trying to be optimistic here.

getting the 1st overall pick isn't exactly something to be proud of.

as for crow, hes gonna get signed eventually.
