anyone read the second most recent post on Nats Journal?

Bowden said he's willing to trade pretty much everyone - including top prospects - in return for players that will help the club long term.  There is a small list of untouchable players.

How can you be positive or optimistic with this team? It's impossible. We call it like we see it. It's asking a lot for us to score more than 2 or 3 runs. Giving up 2 runs in the first is a dagger to this team. You can almost guess they'll score at least 6 or 7 today. Odds we score that many? remote.

Well, we're 3-20 when trailing after one, so there IS hope.

If the weather holds up I think we'll end up scoring 5 runs today.

Thanks for posting that. So when me or PC post that the game is over when we give up a run or two early we are right 87% of the time.

We're going to need a 2B, a 1B, a front end starter and a couple of bullpen arms.

Please tell me that Bowden is putting a massive deal together to trade:
Lopez, Lo Duca, Pena, Bernadina.

I don't even want Furcal anymore. Not worth it at all. Guzman is the best option. We NEED to sign him.

I was assuming we re-signed Guzman and Kearns, Milledge and Dukes were our OF.

(Image removed from quote.)

That won't yield anything of value but it would be nice to dump those guys.

So are our hats.

The "C" just looks like a circle, though. It's oogly.

Dukes gets great reads in the outfield. I've only seen him misjudge one ball this year.

I want the Os radar, it delivers the pitch thrown also.
