We're paying for the Belliard dinger against the O's. The baseball gods said to us, "Alright, we'll give you a sweet walk-off win against the O's. But you owe us BIG time."
So when then do we get paid back for all the time we lost being owned by MLB and almost being contracted and having the franchises BEST SEASON EVER ruining a chance at a deep run at the post season???

Son of a nag.  Two outs.

We have an addiction to double plays.

Leadoff walk.

That always drives me crazy when a batter comes in, pitches to a batter, is pinch hit for and then when he gets on base is pinch run for.

But, if we could get a prospect from them, it would be worth it to us to deal him and eat the salary.
I think there's too much money involved for us to do that.  Lo Duca is a career .286 hitter and a contender could be interested.  He strikes out less than 7% of the time.  Lo Duca is also a former Met and his legs are fresh from being on the DL with a bad hand.

Glad to see Eckseid managing his team.  (I drafted Ibenez, and have been looking at him since dropping him.)  I may lose, but it makes the whole league stronger, if there are fewer good players available on waivers.  ESPN thinks Randy Wolf will get hit today.  But I just noticed that he's alternating between 8 or 9 K's and lights-out pitching every other start - and today is the "good turn."

freakkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk this team. FIRE EVERYBODY!! Bernadina is a defensive specialist, nothing more.

freak Lopez for botching that routine DP ball. freak Manning for serving up a meat ball to a .160 hitter with zero power.

Our bullpen is complete and utter trash.

Helluva catch by Bernadina.  The track as DS is hard rubber.  That was like diving on asphalt.  He may be the first player ever to go on the DL with road rash.

Somehow I have a feeling that these quotes are related.

Nationals 2
Marlins 4

Dukes struck out swinging.

You'll have to take that up with the baseball gods. My point was, we suck, and because we suck, if we catch one break as we did against the O's, it means there will be hell to pay for it. Because we suck.

Bad teams don't get breaks hence thats why they are bad.

That's kinda my point. And when they do get a break, they owe two or three breaks back to the universe.
