so utterly pathetic. Send this loser packing back to Columbus.

Like last night when we had a lead I actually expect us to lose this game.

A few things I've noticed during this game so far:

  • Balester is a BADASS when pitching from the windup, but he's below average from the stretch (loses 4-7 mph on his fastball and leaves pitches up)
  • Dukes is looking more like a power hitter. He doesn't react like it's his first or last home run anymore. Awesome.
  • Belliard does his homework. He guesses a lot, but it's because he usually knows what each pitcher will do in all situations.

He hit a freaking batter then had Ramirez down 0-2 and couldn't get the job done. Idiot.

Don't worry Snell, you'll be back in the minors soon.

When will we get a batch or reliable relievers?

Next year, we have some good ones coming up through the minors as we speak.

thank you Dukes, for telling Lopez to get lost, cause we saw what happened last time a short fly ball was hit to right.

Good analysis, I agree with what you have observed.

For those of us who took Ramirez in the Most Homers Against Nats Question this week, "We told you so."  Thanks, Randy Claire, for once again doing NOTHING to prepare our pitcher to deal with him.  If we lose this game with a 6-1 lead in the 7th inning, the ENTIRE coaching staff should be FIRED TONIGHT!  But Pena should still be shot, on general principle, for failing to hit.

Ramirez and Uggla have 43 HR's between them. As a team we're beating those two by 23 bombs.  :?

Im not talking about at the beginning of the year but I wholeheartely think that Zinicola will be ready sometime next year.  Carr no, but Wilkie and Beno might be ready next year.  I dont think Zinicola is overated though, he has just been rushed.  Go ahead and at Kyle Gunderson into the mix too, he has a chance to be an excellent reliever one day.

For those of us who took Ramirez in the Most Homers Against Nats Question this week, "We told you so."

We have four games against Cincy and Dunn. Ramirez could hit 5 in this series and I still wouldn't assume you guys were right.
