What a great evening.  I'm @ home for the night so I could watch Bally's MLB debut with the fam ... great night.

This team has played pretty darn well the last week (despite Shawn Hill's last start Tuesday and John Lannan's start on Saturday).

I can't wait for them to come back home and then to see them live in person when they take on the Dodgers in Los Angeles.

Game ball to Dukes or Balester?

I'd say Balester AND Belliard. I have a feeling we would have gotten killed w/out those two.

Balester now has the same amount of wins as Jason Bergmann in 10 less starts.

I just took the  L-O-N-G-E-S-T  PISS  in years.  (I thought I'd share that.)  That's for FINALLY beating the Marlins, with 15 hits and a well-pimped  :pimp: grand slam, and a win for a 22-year-old rookie making his pitching debut.  TWO RBI's by Felipe Lopez (WANNA MAKE A DEAL?) and Lo Duca's batting average is skyrocketing.  (AVAILABLE NOW!!!)

and Balester could've pitched a shutout if it weren't for Felipe's carelessness/laziness.

They said he was the first SP in the franchise to win his debut since 1999. Nice.

BOLD PREDICTION: DUKES WILL FINISH THE SEASON WITH 25+ HOMERS. THE BEAST WILL HIT 20+ HOMERS IN THE SECOND HALF OF THE SEASON. just watch. his strength is superior.

Game ball to Dukes or Balester?

Break it up and give each a piece but also include Belliard.

We've already played 85 games,
so the season is more than half over.

Game ball to me because we have not lost a game when I make the gameday thread. (I'm 1-0)
