Nice inning there. Elijah Dukes makes his fair share of mistakes on the basepaths, but at least this team isn't giving up at all. Oh and Felipe Lopez still sucks.

Just got here...  Did Bergmann earn all 6 of those runs?

The box score shows 4 earned and a Nationals error.  (Was the error on Bergmann?)
Guzman singled to center, Pena and Nieves scored, Young to third.

Nationals 3
Pirates 6

This may shock some folks here, but I love the hustle by Dukes trying to get into scoring position there.  I find nothing wrong with getting thrown out at second with two outs.

The Pirate announce just said, "From here, the Pirates will fly the Delta charter to BALTIMORE..."  Why on earth would you FLY from DC to Baltimore?

These lead off walks are killers, if I had a nickel for everytime we walked the first hitter, I could buy the Nats

Not close.

Then never mind what I said about liking Dukes' aggresiveness.

No the ball bounced off Bergmann towards Belliard and he threw the ball a little high. The problem I had with the decision is that the play would've been close with a good throw but the hit was easily headed into CF for a single had it not hit Bergmann.

Says more about how Dukes plays the field than anything else.
