Actually that's solid base running. You can make that more often than not but you have to be willing to take the risk.

It looks like they scored it a wild pitch so Dukes was not credited with a stolen base.

If the throw was a bit lower he would have been out by a mile though.  I agree that you should take the risk sometimes.  We wouldn't have scored just there without it.
