Dukes 1/27 with 11 Ks. Matt Chico has half as many ABs (13) this year yet has more hits (2). Oh yeah, he's a freaking pitcher.  >:(

I can't watch this ****.  As long as Manny keeps trotting out the same pathetic outfielders I can't watch.  Why should I care if they don't?  When will somebody...anybody...be held accountable.  Make these guys earn their time in the big leagues.  Send them down until they string together a couple of hits.  This is Club Med for Bowdens Boys.

And if these announcers keep talking about how tough Jamie MOyer is on our young hitters I might throw my remote through the TV.  These young hitters ARE MAJOR LEAGUERS!!!!!!!  They are facing a guy throwing 82 mph.  Have an at bat already.

I'm disgusted.  Disgusted!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Me too. I haven't swung a bat in two months and I would have had a better chance at getting that run in from 3rd over Dukes.

Now I've gotten to the point where I'm tired of waiting for WMP and Elijah Dukes to deliver.  And the same goes for Matt Chico.  I can't believe I'm actually calling for Austin Kearns to come back!

It's a shame that any of us spend this much money/time/effort and show this much passion for this team.  First and third with no outs against Jamie Moyer - a guy they torched for 6 runs earliers this year?

Pathetic. Neither WMP or Dukes seemed to have a plan at the plate at all about creating a productive out. The bench is fine for them, but once again, what the hell kind of instruction are they getting from Harris? Dukes is batting in front of Chico. He has to be told to at least slap anything close into the dirt to try and advance the runners.

I'm disgusted w/ the offense as well, but there is a reason why this slow pitcher is still in the league. He's got deceptive slow crap.

Absolutely.  He took some very hittable pitches too. I don't know what the freak he was waiting for. It should be easy as crap to make contact off of Moyer.

at least Milledge does something productive occasionally.  Dukes and Pena don't even do that.

I was just responding to Ray Knight's comments about WR saying that he is under more scrutiny because he is black.

Ah, gotcha. Randolph did take all of that stuff back, though.

Good catch, Lastings. Man Chico is woeful.  I don't know what's happened to him.  He was much, much better last year.

Better inning for Chico. Top of the lineup needs to do something here.

Yeah. Randolph is still lousy...it doesn't matter what color he is. I'll take Manny over him.

In positive news ...

1) Chris Marrero is 2-for-2 tonight raising his average to .247.  Has 6 HRs, 19 RBIs on the season.
2) Justin Maxwell is hitting .308 in his last 10 games and now has 7 HRs, 26 RBIs and a AA leading 31 walks.
3) Our pitching prospects are pretty good.

Other than that ... Dukes, WMP, Chico are worthless.
