Flores has been on fire since being called up. I'm really starting to believe in the kid.

I can't see sending him back down when/if Estrada and Lo Duca come back. They should just dump Estrada.

I don't think there's any way he could have gotten to the bag before the runner

Ok just logging on due to dinner - for the 3rd out in the bottom of the first, after Zim made the great stop, why did he throw across the diamond instead of getting the force at third? Phils announcers loved the play, but it seemed like he could have easily just tagged third. Maybe I missed something because I'm tired.

That little kid they just showed is a mess. They need to call social services on his parents. What decent parent would put a Phillies shirt on a kid?

I'd be very happy with Flores and Nieves...but I don't pretend to know how contracts play into these decisions

Dump Lo Duca too. We can't lose Nieves.

Nieves had his clock start in '02. Looks like he has no options at first glance.

We can just hope Redding does his best at "damage control" today ...

and that our offense actually scores some runs against a crappy pitcher to give us some cushion.

oh man, Burrell just missed that one. Redding is scaring the crap out of me.  Please offense, pound out 4 or 5 more runs.

Not even expecting that. So is it confirmed Matty is pitching on Wednesday?

I just got a feeling this implies Matty pitching 5 innings and Hanrahan coming in relief for the next 3 for a 15-2 loss, but then again I'll be attending the game and I'm 2-0 at the ball park! :)

Chico will start Wednesday as long as Redding doesn't get hurt or get rocked and Manny has to use him early in the game tonight.
