That's the articles title is it not?  I thought it was a very interesting read.  I assume NOTLD posted it since he's the only one who updates the news regularly.

Yeah, it was the title that I guess NOTLD chose, but is that really "news" to us? I was a little surprised to see that up there.

How in the F did Flores get thrown out? That's bull crap. He doesn't even know a ton of English.

I'm sure the ump has learned some Spanish over the years.

Anyone who thinks these umps and referees in general aren't still betting on games despite the Donaghy incident are dreaming.

Hasn't McClelland always given us a bunch of crap, or am I thinking of another ump?

He's a god awful umpire. I'm sure he has screwed us in the past although I can't remember a specific incident.

I can't believe Sutton just tried to credit Lenny Harris for Nieves' hot streak

I'd like to hear what was said or done before I decide who was right and who was wrong.

Me too. That's a load of BS.

Flores had to be fuming though. McClelland had been freaking us all game long and that last pitch was right down the pipe.  The anger in Flores also had to be building because he is sick of playing with a bunch of losers.

Transcript from Flores getting ejected:

Flores: That was a strike

Ump: Hanrahan is pitching, it couldn't be.

Flores: But he does throw a strike once every 15 pitches and that was a strike.

Ump: Even if it was, the next one would have been a ball anyway. You're out of the game.

He watches more 0-2 pitches than anything. It's kind of funny.

Have you guys ever seen an offense this bad? Milledge gets a hanging slider and barely hits a routine fly ball to left center.

We have gotten a lead-off walk two innings in a row and have not even advanced the runner let alone scoring him.

It doesn't matter who is on the mound for the other team. Pelfrey, Burres, and Olson have completely dominated us this week.

That's an accurate comparison at this point. They are about equal with the bat but Nook's D is a little better.
