He was hit pretty hard twice, so I'm not feeling too bad about that inning.

We got 3 hits and 2 runs in the first inning last night. That meant nothing as we got shut down the rest of the way.

If Perez can throw more curves like that, he should be in good shape.

Wily Mo Pena sucks ass.  Just release the douche.  Just let him dupe some other team into thinking he's a major league outfielder.

I'm sick of this crap. I've had enough of no hitting and bad defense.

I'm surprised he didn't break through that wall.

Pena has no business on a the field.  He has cost us multiple games this year.

1-0. That's game. Perez is mediocre.

And how often have we seen the defense positioned the opposite way they have pitched?

That's on the pitcher for making a mistake. Perez has missed his spot by a large margin on multiple occasions already.

Being an incurable optimist I have to ask - game over in the FIRST INNING?

You should know by now what he means.  He's said before that he says that in hopes of us NOT losing. It's pointless, but he ALWAYS says it.

OP is freaking brutal. He is almost Armas-esque in his fear of throwing strikes.

I might have to pull a ronnynat tonight. Someone asked me to go out to dinner and then drinking but I opted to come home and watch the game. I may have to call her and hook that up for my own sanity.

Perez won't be around long tonight.  Already at 25 pitches.

If we don't score soon I'd do it.  I don't know if I could take another game of piss poor hitting and bad fundamentals myself.

I'm actually thinking about going to a karaoke bar to watch the game. More entertaining than these threads anyways.
