The hell if I know.  Put Macowiak or Harris in left and let's see what Dukes can do in RF.

Pelfrey has given up at least 8 hits in 4 straight starts. He has given up at least 4 ERs in 3 of his last 4 starts.

Unfortunately he completely owned us earlier in the season to the tune of 7 scoreless innings.

I'm not sure what to think of the frequent rotation in the outfield. It gives everybody a chance to perform and also gives players a rest they might need, but on the other hand how are players like Dukes going to be able to find some continuity if they aren't playing/starting everyday?

big ears must've won the immunity challenge ala survivor.

i am surprised to see the normal lineup (minus mackowiak), i was expecting some changes on a day game after a night game.

we MUST take 3/4. berg better not blow it. a split would be almost pointless and lackluster.

Personally I think it would have been interesting to see how Nieves handled Bergmann...  I feel like his demonstrative and animated approach to calling games would help Bergmann keep his head in it, but I guess it makes more sense to have Berg pitch to someone who has more experience handling him.

Now that I think of it...   does anyone know who he pitched to in Columbus and what his numbers with diff catchers were?  I suppose I should know but I honestly don't follow the minors at all except for major headlines and what I read on this board

I think Manny is trying several guys at LF to see who gets hot.

BTW EmpireNat, the Nats offense ignited just as you left the game thread.

Too bad Schneider's not catching today.  He called one hell of a game last night.

I'm sure they'll bring him in in the 7th to sacrifice himself slapping in a runner from third though.

Not able to watch since I'm at work, but I do enjoy following the GameTracker on ESPN.com.

Man I hope Jason kicks ass today. That'd be huge for his confidence and our team because we are in dire need of a solid #5 pitcher.

Is it better than MLB's game tracker or yahoo's?

Absolutely. We desperately need to fix that 5th spot in the rotation (and I remember when people were calling him to be our #1 or a candidate for the ASG :?).

I don't know, since I've never used those.  I've used ESPN's for a while, though.
