Disgruntled teenage Met fan:
If Eagleskins were a Met fan, word for word that's what he'd say after a loss like that.

incidentally, I just got home and finally SAW harris' catch. it *has* to be the catch of the year so far for the Nats.  I'm going to be REALLY disgruntled(being polite) if it is not at least #2 on the Web gems tonight.  the only thing keeping it from #1 tonight would be like a ridiculous triple play or something.

Every headline that I've read for the game reads something like "Harris' game-saving catch..." so I figure it'll get #1.

What was crazy about that catch was that he not only dove, but he hung up for a second and seemed to extend even further. Willie "All-Out" Harris seems fitting; at least for a while.

Get swept at home by the Marlins...then go up to Shea and take 3 of 4 from the Mess, capping it with a 1-nil clean-sheeting...baseball is a funny game.

Only thing keeping it from #1 might be the first of our two ridiculous double plays ... I hope ...

big surprise. willie harris' catch of the yr is incredulously snubbed of the #1 web gem in favor of a lame college catch. espn has some unknown grudge against the nats.
