Just saw the replay of that Zim-Boone-Guzman bunt double play. AMAZING play - maybe our best play of the year? Great throw by Aaron Boone, perfect throw - and what a great play by Guz, too, who pretty much outran Reyes. Perfect all around!

Dude you're over doing it on the amount of runs Zimmerman saves on the field.

One of the Baseball Prospectus analysts made a pretty strong assertion regarding how many games Zimmerman was worth in defense vs. Wright, and that was lbased on last season.  Zimmerman's been even better this year, Wright worse.  During a slow period I'll try to put some rational perspective to this discussion by finding that old article.

Even still it's not multiple runs/game like he has suggested, in fact, it's not even one run/game. Some of it is over estimated. How many runs did he cause last year with his 24 errors?
