True, but even if he had 3 straight outings like this, then one poor one, do you really think the beach ball wouldn't be broken out? Hey, I think it's funny sometimes, but there shouldn't be a problem w/ showing excitement for an outing like this one, too. Why contain it?

Look, I'm only telling the truth. Be excited all you want but its only one game.

And yes, the beachball would be broken out because "Beachball" has never proven otherwise he is a pitcher that can stick.

Hate to sound like AZ but RZ is leading the team in HRs and RBIs. Where is the hate on Kearns and Milledge? They are much ******* worse, especially considering how poor their D has been.

Milledge has hit a far bit this season. Kearns I said earlier could use a time in the minors , but it's his sixth year, so I think he'd need to agree.

You got home fast.

Didn't you know?  All former moderators are given a personal teleporter as part of their severance package.  It just takes a few minutes to warm up.

Zimmerman's earning an option to the minors in my opinion. He's got all of them left, and I think in his 6th year you have to get his permission.

yeah he's only had an extra base hit every game this series (not counting today) and has saved run after run.

on a positive note, nats are up 1-0 let's close out this series.

So was the infamous "Atlanta Game" and suddenly he found himself back in the minors. Again.

Come on guys, one game. ONE GAME. We have seen this all before, it's not like ONE GAME complete erases his inconsistent past.

That's not the point. Today is today. And he was awesome today. I didn't hear anyone calling his terrible outings "great" just because of that Atlanta game from last season. You don't have to get your hopes up for future outings (who on this team can you do that with?), but giving the guy credit for THIS one shouldn't be a problem. It's exciting to me because he completely dominated a team that is expected to beat us every time out and he gave us a chance to win.

I never left.

gonna wait till the game is over.

OH that explains it.

In case you haven't noticed, they have been getting plenty of much deserved hate. In fact, you have contributed your share

That was a hard hit ball that the pitcher got lucky on.

And I have already given it to him: three pages ago. I said I will gladly take what he has given us today. My apologies if I don't pull down his jock and service him.

Wise. Kearns hit a liner right back up the middle and it hit Wise. He's staying in though.

Dude you're over doing it on the amount of runs Zimmerman saves on the field.

He started the season red hot, then went ice cold. Put him back batting 2nd I say.

All we need is a single. If Ronny can't do it, he should draw a walk so Flores can. All we need is a single.

Also 1 extra base hit every gaame this series except for this one is 3 extra base hits - whoop-de-do
