Has Zimmerman had that brace on his left wrist all season? (I noticed it when he was diving back to the bag)

Yes, in some fashion. He was wearing a white one at one point.

What you aren't curious to see how many leadoff walks we can issue?

Nah, I already know the answer to that one. :?

What's worse w/ Chico is it's almost a definite that he'll give up hits. Batters have a .338 average against him this year. That's just terrible.

Milledge gets a meatball and he fouls it into the backstop.  Somebody really has to help him with hitting those pitches.  For the most part, he's been totally futile at that.

In other news, my hand is hurt after punching what I thought was an empty box after Oswalt's 2-run hit earlier *sigh* :?

This is actually a pretty good game on the overall, IMO.

By the way, Church was 3 for 4 with 3RBIs and a homer today.  :|

Well, that might be a good thing.

I liked this one right before the Zimmerman home run.

Another one-run lead that feels insurmountable.  >:(

Walkrahan is not satisfied unless he walks a batter.

He would have been 0 for 4 w/ 3 strikeouts and tapper back to the pitcher had he been in a Nats uniform.

Sorry Chief but

well the stupid part is I deliberately got up to look for something to punch that WOULDN'T hurt my hand, hence the box that I thought was empty, which led to me not pulling my punch at all

and yes I feel suitably stupid :-[

This is our game. We need to score a run here and steal this game.

All in all, great outing from Hanrahan.  We'll take 2 innings with nothing given up against a great hitting team like the Astros all day long.

If he was having a good day...
