Perez ended up pitching another quality game last Thursday. He went seven
innings and gave up the two runs on three hits against the Pirates. However,
he got no decision for the fourth time this seaosn. Perez continues to say
that he is not frustrated that he hasn't picked up a win this season.

Oswalt won his third consecutive decision in his last start, though he still
says he has not had his good curveball on a consistent basis. Oswalt gave
up four runs on six hits, including a pair of homers, in that outing May 2
against Milwaukee, but picked up the victory when the offense cranked out
five home runs. Oswalt's personal winning streak is his longest since his
six-game streak of July 20-Aug. 29, 2007. The right-hander is 3-1 with a
2.45 ERA in eight career games against the Nationals.

If we keep their guys off the bases, we should win.

Boone needs to be in the lineup somewhere.  I would love to see Willie Harris starting over Pena.

I think they see Pena as a better guy to have in the lineup because he has 3 or 4 chances to get us a homer. Harris and (especially) Boone are better pinch hitters.

are we going to be the same old nationals who go on a losing streak after a demoralizing loss, or are we gonna be the new and improved nationals who bounce back with a win and get back on track?!

Pena is more likely to give up multiple runs on a routine fly than he is to hit a homer.  He is a major liability, and has already cost us a couple of games.

he's an EMBARRASSMENT in left. he's an uncoordinated goon out there. just one of the many reasons dukes should be called up. it's really mind boggling how picky they are being with dukes. he's healthy, he should be called up.

Groin/hamstring injuries can be re-injured VERY easily. It's best not to rush him back.

Felipe doesn't make contact enough to be a lead off hitter.  Switch him and Guzman up.

Hell yeah Zimm.  If Zimm gets hot along with Nick and Kearns, we can overcome the bums that are Pena and Lo Duca.
