Through 28 games: 11 HR, 32 RBI, .364 AVG, .511 OBP, and 11 SB.

Insanity. The Rangers, as bad as they are, don't really have room for him. I'm guessing some team will trade for him. Probably a contender. Those have got to be the best numbers in the minors right now.

I've known teams to keep a guy hitting .400 down in AAA, not good enough to help a team full of .215 hitters.   :?   

Of all my frustrations over the way the second half of 2005 went, keeping Rick Short buried in the minors so long was probably the worst.  That guy could hit anywhere, anytime.
