The first rule about complete game shutouts is you don't talk about complete game shutouts.

How did he use that in a sentence?

He was talking about how "solid" Snell is "through the middle" and then started listing off body segments from the shoulders down, ending at "butt muscles" (guess he's never heard the term "glutes" )

Arghh.  LaRoche goes deep and gone.

His career has tanked since going to Pittsburgh.

Arguing balls and strikes.  Not sure exactly of the details though.  The Clippers' manager got thrown out too.

It was either you who jinxed him, or me saying Redding had only made one mistake.

It's the like the second time around facing the batters, Redding is a completely different pitcher.

Yeah, LaRoche really hasn't been the same player since the start of '07.  A lot of those homers were hit back in '06.

he needs to be called up not only because we need the offense, but he doesn't have any mentors in Columbus...he needs to be under the watchful eye of Manny and company.

OK, damage minimized. We need to get at least 2 more runs right here.

Bergmann pulled after only 82 pitches and 6 innings without giving up a run.

Actually, you're not giving your little mancrush enough credit.  Apparently, the call was so bad that the Clippers' manager felt the need to argue it as well, so it seems like Dukes was somewhat justified in arguing it.  Of course, players shouldn't really get ejected, but if you're going to, it looks less absurd to have it be about something like this.
