Why don't you bring in OConnor there?

Rivera is a great pitcher when it doesn't matter.

We suck. Now he walked another batter.

Don't forget he gave up that single after St Claire went to the mound to talk to him. Whatever he said to him Rivera did not follow through on it.

Cause he's not a lefty specialist. Plus it's stupid to use a situational lefty for one batter in the 12th inning.

No it's not.  We only needed one out.

what a call by Cox. he let his closer get a 3rd out with 2 on and a 2-1 lead. now that is confidence in acosta. i hope we make him pay. dont forget we have awesome austin's .182 average leading off

No it's not.  We only needed one out.

O'Connor could've then pitched at least another inning if necessary but that's beside the point. Rivera, or any other reliever should've been able to get out of that jam. Of course all this would be moot if we could score some runs.
