Positive note: Kearns looks a lot more confident at the plate right now.
AK and Guz have combined for 5 hits against Hudson tonight.  I could really care less though.  I'd just have assumed that we get no-hit if we're not going to score.  8 hits and no runs is unbelievable.

Haywood has been ejected.  LMFAO. The refs are disgusting.  I seriously would not mind at all if Lebron got ran over by a bus after the game tonight.

I was a little pissed at what Arenas said earlier about Caron. If you didn't hear it, he said Caron will never be star in the league unless he starts talking chit about other teams and players to the media. He also said no one notices if Caron scores 30 pts. Kind of upsetting because he said it like it matters.

AZ you seriously need to change that part in your sig that says Zimmerman is > than Wright. No one in their right ming would think that is even remotely close to being true.

never.

Interesting.  I didn't hear that.  This team is obviously completely out of sorts. We may be looking at a completely different Wizards team next Fall.  Gilbert, Antawn, and Roger are free agents and Eddie Jordan is on the hot seat.

Yeah, but it's important that each individual player gets better. It'll help us in the long run. I know it doesn't seem like it matters now, but it does.

Oh please Escobar, quit being a freaking drama queen, taking a dive like that was in no way merited.

Did anyone guess Zero runs on the YNOT question asking how many ERs we would score against Hudson/Smoltz?  They will probably be right.  Smoltz is sporting a nice, low 0.56 ERA.

They played the recording on the John Riggins show today. He was definitely serious, too. I still like Arenas, but he needs to think before he speaks sometimes. I'm know he wasn't trying to put Caron down, but it's still freaked up to say.

And then Perez who owns us and then Dempster who will shut us down followed by Carlos Zambrano and Lilly. We'll be lucky to score 10-15 runs this week.

OT: That really was an awesome goal by Backstrom. Great passing and a great shot.

What's more pathetic, the Nats getting killed 6-0 or the Wizards losing by 25 in a playoff game?  :-[

I'm watching the wizards choke right now, i feel bad for Eddie Jordan. I like him..

Im just letting the gameday of the nationals game run and check back to see if we add another hit but not produce a run.

Losing this bad in regular season < losing in a PLAYOFF game.

This is the futility that we here in Washington have come to expect. Redskins get bounced in the first round of the playoffs and the fate of the Bullets and Caps looks to be the same. Someday (when pigs fly) the Nats may be able to say the same thing.

Really doesn't matter who is on the hill for the other team.  When half of your line up isn't hitting, you can't score runs, especially when your #3 batter is temporarilly incapable of getting a hit with a runner in scoring position or bringing in a runner from third base with less than 2 outs.

Last year Zimmerman went 3 weeks between RBI early in the season.  I hope he doesn't equal that feat this year.
