That's unlike NJ to chase that pitch.

NJ is a better hitter against lefties. .291 on his career.

Guzzy is hitting better THIS year against leftys.

He should have known that the Marlins would have put in a lefty to face NJ.  I would have used Guz although there is no excuse for NJ choking like that.

BAT LEFT HANDED LOPEZ

That's what I was thinking - he would have done much better.

Good thing my college baseball team is ranked in the top 10 nationally. Otherwise I think I'd go insane watching this...

I still think it was the right choice. You put in the guy that is clutch and can elevate the ball over the groundball hitter in that situation.

Z-man has lately been costing us at least 1 run a game via either his defense (today) or his offense (last night).  That 1 run seems to be the difference almost every game.  RZ needs a day off, Manny.

He more likely anticipated that the Marlins would be dumb enough to bring in Tank.

Lefties are clobbering Tank with a .444 BAA

Johnson, coming in, was 2-4 with a 2B and HR off Tank

Guzman is 0-1 with a K

Predictable. Our best hitter who hits well against lefties including Tank choked like a dog.

Our relievers s-u-c-k.  That would have been a homer any where else.

NatsAddict, do the Marlins close off the upper deck outfield, so nobody has to clean it?  Do they do this with other entire sections?

Very sick, especially because they have been kicking our ass.  4 more losses then the Cubbies come to town to whip us around like rag dolls.
