We need to be stretching our starters out when they are pitching well.
Our starters are doing fine.  Our relievers meanwhile take a crap on the mound game after game.  Not one guy has been good.

Not that much worse when you consider how many games our bullpen has choked away. They blew it today, last night, and the game before in New York.

There wouldn't have been a game to "choke away".....

Milledge needs to get the red light from now on. He can't be trusted to steal on his own.

Everyone knows how bad our offense is. It's the worst in the Majors. Our bullpen which was once thought to be a strength is a glaring weakness as well. It should not be overlooked.

The fact that people think it's game over because we're losing 2-1 in the bottom of the 7th tells me that the offense is a much more pressing matter than the bullpen.

Technically, if the offense doesn't even exist, how can it be worse than the pen?

Especially against lefties.

The bullpen is certainly not worse than the offense.

And a team that is 5-13 should not be sitting its two best hitters, Guzman and Nick-at-Nite, as Boone DOUBLES.  HIT HIM IN, WOMP RAT!

Fredi is gonna bring in his lefty specialist who can only get righties out.  NJ gets an RBI freebie.

Rather than NJ? Really? NJ makes more sense because he can elevate the ball easier.

In a lefty-lefty matchup, yes.

Guzzy is hitting almost .500 against leftys

NJ is a better hitter against lefties. .291 on his career.
