2 runs going into the 6th is nothing, if we were up 3-2 we wouldn't be saying how crap he is. Perez is not going to hit homers, we're down 2 runs that's nothing. It's our pathetic hitting that sucks.

After all that, he has only given up 2 runs through 5.  I'll take that every time from him.

Perez has given up 2 runs thru 4 innings.

It hasnt been pretty, but it is what it is.

I dont see no point to get down on him at tha moment.

Its tha offense we should cursing.

Glad I'm not the only one thinking this.

I am now transferring some of my life energy into the bats of the Nats in hopes they can come alive....

So let's keep dogging him so as not to jinx it

Conversely, let's praise our offense to see if it works.

RZ, NJ, AK and WMP will produce runs this inning.

He just won't throw strikes... or can't throw strikes. :?

Maybe you just have to PRESS 2 FOR SPANISH
Apparently SaintClaire went to the mound and did that.

It is Zimmerman that is killing the Nats.  Without knowing the stats, I would say that he has stranded more runners in scoring position than anyone else on the team.  6 RBI's out of the 3 spot is pathetic, especially when two .300+ hitters are heading ahead of you.

A-Rod only has 8 RBIs with the Yankees, but yeah, Zimmerman ALWAYS slumps in April, and should NOT be batting 3rd UNLESS the Nationals WANT to lose more games.  Zimmerman should play winter baseball if he's going to bat .218 every April.  He will NEVER be voted onto the All Star team for that reason.

Seriously, Zimmerman has options.  Why not send him down?  He looks like the worst hitter in the league right now.
