I think Manny Acta has an unwritten agreement to put Reyes on base every time he comes to bat.  The deal was with Frank Robinson, a strong believer in that policy.

Feels like it. Reyes was batting like .200 going into this game. He'll be hitting .300 after we leave town.

Their pen is a lot better than terrible Mike Pelfrey.  It's pointless to run up his pitch count if you get zero runs in the process.

Maybe if we Rick Roll them, they will get confused and walk in a few runs. Like five of them.

If this keeps up I can't see how Perez can justifiably survive the month of April.
I hope he goes the way of Jerome Williams and we never see him again.

Manny seems to fear a lot of batters. His fear is making this team complete chicken crap.

if the Teams Management is really serious about putting a quality product on the field, Perez will be gone by April, and the rest of the bums will be gone by the all-star break.

We may need to do what we did with JW last season and start calling him "The pitcher whose name shall not be mentioned".

i don't know how that equates to a quality product though...we're going to need to open the bank in the offseason

So far the Lerners have shown that this is a one way exercise :?

it is a show of commitment that says "we are done scraping the bottom of the barrel for every other team's rejects and trying to promote them as effective players."

Kearns has been way late on fastballs for a week now.  His swing is longer than normal.  He looks like he looked prior to the last few months of the season last year.

Kearns is the only person with a better golf swing than Tiger Woods.

The early mistake that led to Philly's 3rd goal could prove costly.

Probably.  They have turned the puck over way too many times over the last 2 games.  Huet has stunk.

Fortunately, tonight, I took emergency measures and purchased this that should help get me through the rest of the season:

I think Pena needed more time in AAA. He looks bad. I really can't believe we are getting shut out by such a bad pitcher.

Wily Mo needs to learn to recognize breaking pitches and laying off or he will be nothing more than,

Pedro Cerrano

I know we have only had half a season of Wily Mo Pena, but at this rate I don't want to see the other half. Pena sucks.

It is Zimmerman that is killing the Nats.  Without knowing the stats, I would say that he has stranded more runners in scoring position than anyone else on the team.  6 RBI's out of the 3 spot is pathetic, especially when two .300+ hitters are heading ahead of you.
