Miller can't throw anything but a fastball for strikes.  Just wait and tee-off on the fastball.

Wait for the fastball, Milledge!  Didn't you read the scouting report?

Yep. He lacks natural instincts in tha outfield and react slowly to balls off of tha bat.

BTW, there should've been a comma after "hopefully".
Grammar police?

Bob says he's not a strikeout pitcher. I thought he was? His fastball just hit 94 there.

I'm watching on Gameday, so you guys are often faster to post than I am to find out what happened. It's fun to watch both ... and by the way, I love Cristian Guzman.  :D

We need to set up a Sticky Thread in the Game Threads section with the
Game Thread Starter W-L Record

So far it's:  Wins    Losses
2k6nats         3           2
tomterp         0           1
bbq552          0           1

(Image removed from quote.) (Image removed from quote.)

Moral of the story: the Nationals won't win if I don't do the threads.

Watch where Miller's front foot lands - way towards 1b - then he throws around his body.  It's actually MUCH, MUCH better now than in spring training, but still gawdawful mechanically.

He reminds me a little of Detwiler.

Detwiler: 6' 4" 175 lbs
Miller: 6' 6" 210

Miller is a little bigger.

High and inside fastballs should get the job done for him. Like the one he just threw to NJ.

Yeah, and if he were on a real team, they'd let him develop against righties in AA where he should be.
