Miller is throwing a ton of strikes and is basically shutting us down. Our offense stinks.

The visitor weight room surpasses the Marlins home facilities was one of the big comments.

EDIT: the only current stadiums in which the Marlins have not played are in Seattle and Oakland.

Funny how the players see a different side of things than we do ;)  I can definitely see nice visitor facilities being a big plus for visiting teams.  Visiting teams used to complain quite a bit about how awful the visitor's clubhouse at RFK was.

Rub it in, why don't you? We know our offense sucks.

The Marlins players and announcers have both tagged Nationals Park the best stadium in baseball.

Having just scored 7 runs, and keeping their own pitcher in the game in the 4th inning, must have them in baseball heaven.

FELIPE is 2 for 2!

Harris hitting for Redding?  Might as well let Redding hit for himself, eh?

The only positive thing to take from this game so far is Lopez getting two hits. Hopefully it will get him going. Manny PHs for Redding. Why is Harris, a lefty, facing Miller?

Miller's pitch count is already over 80.  He won't be pitching past the 5th inning.

Do you really have to ask?  It's the Frank Robinson special...  lefty-lefty matchup! ;)

Dumb move by Manny.  Redding was starting to get in a groove.  He needed to pitch 6 innings tonight.  Now it's on the bullpen.

Redding is a #4 or #5 pitcher being touted as a high starter in our organization. It shows how really in shambles our rotation is.

this is absolutely true.  we DO NOT have *any* frontline quality starters on this team.  our 1,2,3 starters are only 1,2,3 starters because of a lack of quality pitching.

that is a fact.

and as much as we don't like it, for now, that is just something we will have to expect and deal with.

let's hope detwiler, balester and co. mature quickly.

Guz is doing well. But Flopsy is indeed the unlikely hero so far. Maybe this will give his trade value a nudge.

Miller does give batters happy feat - that's his strongest MLB attribute.
