Lmao. NJ swinging at a 2-0 pitch down by 4. This team has such a low baseball IQ.

Looks like Andrew Miller is going to have the best game of his career.

The Marlins starters average 4.1 IP/game.  The pen is averaging 4.2.

Florida will score 15 easily if Manny keeps Redding in.

He'll probably get 2 more now that we have a 5-man rotation. He's throwing strikes, but they aren't good strikes.

Well, I just meant that your statement applied to both teams. :)

I guess the Marlins are faring slightly worse than we in the pitching department, though.

And Tim Redding was supposed to have a "breakout year". Yeah, he's breaking out alright.

Oh man, I think I am going to be sick.

LOL. I don't know about that, but Charlie Kaufman (awesome screenwriter) definitely does.

The Marlins players and announcers have both tagged Nationals Park the best stadium in baseball.

Way to write a guy off after two lousy innings. Our pitching rotation is just not strong enough to throw guys out without giving them second and third chances. And pitching seven innings of one-hit ball against the Phillies is more telling than one crap inning against the Marlins.

EDIT: Really dumb mistake fixed

The Marlins will let us back in this game.  Redding needs to shut them down until the 6th, so it won't tax the bullpen.

And the 7th run was scored when our hot shot CF dropped a can of corn.  Comical.

The field at Nats Park looks a LOT bigger on TV than it did when I was there in person.  It looks absolutely huge.

I was puzzled when Acta didn't IBB Amezaga with 2-outs and Miller on deck.  I guess it was due to 2 strikes on Amezaga.  As it turned out, Miller got his 2nd ever professional hit, counting spring training.

I think it's great, too, but I really liked the look of Busch Stadium during our last series.

The visitor weight room surpasses the Marlins home facilities was one of the big comments.

EDIT: the only current stadiums in which the Marlins have not played are in Seattle and Oakland.

Redding is a #4 or #5 pitcher being touted as a high starter in our organization. It shows how really in shambles our rotation is. He is getting hammered by what is supposed to be the worst team in the MLB in our own home stadium.

I can't wait to hear the positive spins this performance gets.
