Wouldn't be a Nats game without leaving the inning with bases loaded.

Lead-off walk to the #9 hitter. Take his ass out, Manny!

Picked him off.

oh god, Please take Chico out.  He has a minor leaguer down 1-2 in the count and can't put him away.  Triple to right-center.

Ankiel is worthless if you throw him breaking balls and outside fastballs.

He's gotta go at least 5. Our relievers have already pitched too much.

St-Claire has to go out and talk to him though. He's gotta start throwing first pitch strikes.

Well he gets out of the jam there nicely. I'd consider PHing for him here though especially since we are down 3.

Manny lets him hit and Chico Ks on 4 pitches.

no way. that would be nine innings of bullpen work in two games. chico has to pitch 5 at least

His mechanics were on in the first inning but he's not hitting his spots now. We're lucky it's only 4-1.

ah, the good old days of following the game on yahoo! smh.

anyways, chico gives up 8 hits in 4 innings, this is the first of many games that chico will be exposed in. he's so mediocre.

THAT's why you do NOT put a minor league pitcher on the field, or one who should be playing in the Dominican Republic leagues.

Exactly. He hurts the team not just that game but if he can't go more than 4 innings he hurts us for the next few games too.

Even worse would be to lose tomorrow too and finish the week 3-4.  Man that would be sad.  Winning tomorrow and coming home with a 4-3 record would be HUGE.

Nice inning. 4-5-6 hitters due up. It'd be nice to at least score a few runs to make the game semi-close.
