We have played terrible over the last 3 games but man has our luck been terrible too. I've never seen so many lucky ass ground ball and broken bat hits.  I guess we used up our season's allowance of luck over our first 3 games.  :?

I wouldn't be so disgusted with this series if our offense was hitting their crappy pitching.
Crazy. We beat Hudson, Myers, and Hamels in our first 3 games and then we lost to Moyer and Looper. haha

This is an absolute must-win for this team.  Our 3-0 start just can't be immediately trashed with an 0-3 follow-up.  We need to win this game.

That had to be the worst swing that put a ball in play I've ever witnessed.

Definitely a must win. How horrific would it be to lose today and tomorrow and end the week with a losing record after such a promising start?

We are bending over and taking it from Adam Wainwright.

Has him down 0-2 in the count and then gives up a double. Too many wasted pitches.

Is the home plate ump blind or is the ESPN gamecast just really awful.  There are pitches being reported right down the middle as balls.

Walks Pujols on 5 pitches. Chico won't last long. Who in the hell do we have in the pen that can give us 2-3 innings? I assume Rivera can't pitch today.

He's just setting up the triple play, duh.

Cardinals announcers on Kearns throw: "Plays like that are what separate first place teams from last place teams."

That's unacceptable and is probably the game.  Why in the hell is he throwing meatball pitches with a lefty on deck and first base open?

How in the freak are all of these garbage Sub- .250 hitters getting all of these hits over the last two games? Molina is terrible. Kennedy is terrible. Izturis is terrible.

The last Washington baseball team to win its first 2 games was the 1962 Senators.

They LOST their next 13 games, to start 2-13.

Chico is still a minor league pitcher.
The Lerners refused to acquire ONE good pitcher in the off season.

Zim 2/2 with 2 doubles. He's the only one on the team with a hit today.

Nick-at-Night hits Zimmerman in.

Nationals 1
Cardinals 5

Nick thrown out at 2nd; but we're hitting Wainwright now.
Belliard singles.
