Paulie needs to quit trying to force the ball the other way and just pull the damn thing when Looper tries to throw him inside.

Belliard gets the ball in play. Important to plate that run from third after all the recent failures.

Why is Lopez playing?  I'd much rather have Langerhans up here.

Because they're trying to get rid of him. He won't get us anything if he's on the bench.

Watching Perez nibble makes me sick.  Throw some freaking strikes!! Other than Pujols and Ankiel the rest of their hitters suck.

He sure is not going to get us anything with his performance.

Leadoff walks should result in fines.

How many balls has Perez thrown this game compared to strikes?

Gives up a walk to a horrible hitting catcher and then gives up a double to another terrible hitter.  This is the direct result of always being behind in the count. If Manny wants any chance at winning this game Perez should be yanked immediately.

The problem is that they have a lot of righties with some pop. So you are dead, the nibbling simply gets behind these guys and even the lesser hitters can wait on the meatball.

If he walks the pitcher, he should just retire.
