Guys this is crazy!  Is it because nobody in Miami cares anymore or what?

We still care.  Did you hear what Byrd said the other day?  He said the team is fighting for its respect, and they've never given up.  I believe it.

I want to know where all this offense was 2 months ago.

I think I know why Guzman is hitting.....Rick Short brought all of Guzman's bats back from NO when he came up at the beginning of Sept :)

zimmerman gets SOOOO close to a HR...hes gonne get one soon - i can feel it.

he has 9 doubles in 47 ABs

You are aware how promising that is in a young player, especially a rookie?  The classic progression (at least with players who become stars) is that doubles as a young guy become home runs with a little age and experience and added strength.  So those doubles are VERY encouraging.

When your offense scores some runs, your pitching doesn't have to be perfect.

...and Loaiza ain't perfect tonight!!!

Greetings, folks.

I checked out for a while, Nats losing 3-2.

After having read a book, brushed teeth, said a prayer and fed the fish, we are winning 9-3.  Hope I can remember that sequence tomorrow.

I am really happy for Marlon.  He brings a lot of enthusiasm to the game, and with his athleticism, he must have been really frustrated at times this season.  But he's putting forth a major claim on a key role next season.

In other action, I root for both Boston and NY to lose, and Indians to win.

^^^^  agreed.  Go Tribe!

I think we've scored more runs in this series than we usually do in two or three series

GUUUUZ, our offensive beast, is at the plate.  Run-scoring seems inevitable.

Wilky got robbed there.  But alas, such are the vagaries of defensive play.

go Indians as well......also rooting for the Angels as my man Vladimir is with them (wouldn't he look good in a Nats uniform....shame)...agree Byrd is staking a claim on a starting job for next year and Zimm sure looks like he might be a good one.....it's a small sample and only time will tell but right now he's looking pretty good....Zimm just made a good play according to the Marlins announcers on XM....
