So let's pretend we all went to a bar or pub together.  What would you be nursing? :glug: :koolaid:

Myself would be one of three:

SoCo Lime
Captain and Coke
Red Russian

Likewise. Maybe a ginger ale or something caffeinated, depending on how I'm feeling at the moment.

7 & 7
Miller Lite
Jager

I love me some gin sometimes, too. I had a Bulgarian roommate in college who had gallons of the stuff in the apartment.

Wild Turkey 101, with just a little bit of ice.

"no, not that much ice. No, less.  Put a little more back, please.  More.  Okay, that's good".

If you say on the rocks, they fill the damn glass with ice.  If you say just a little, they fill it 3/4.    :glug:

Now I get it DanMit

Hey NOTLD what's a Red Russian? I've never heard of it before.

For me it would be brew like a Lowenbrau, Gin and Tonic or perhaps Bacardi Dark on the rocks. Or a shot of century club (1 part Wild Turkey, 1 part Bacardi 151, 1 part Rumpelmintz, shaken not stirred)

Do any of you like Guinness, or am I the only one? Not many seem to like the stuff.

1 ounce Heavy Cream
Layer in a lowball glass.

Sort of like a White Russian but a tad different:

1 ounce Cherry/Rasberry/Strawberry Liqueur (matter of preference)
1 ounce Vodka
1 ounce Heavy Cream

Layer in a high ball.

It has a nice taste, smooth.  Sort of reminds me of those Christmas chocolate covered cherries.

Ronny beat me to it but yeah, thats it.

Its OK. I generally dont order it. No particular reason.  Its not necessarily an apples to apples comparison, but I like Smithwicks better

That sounds a lot like a shot called mind eraser. I think I had some mind erasers once but I can't quite recall it

I knew this chick bartender that made rainbow shots. 6 different shots of different taste and color stacked up on top of one another. She "made" me drink two of them one night  :glug: I heard I had a good time :?

Strangely enough, I just can't find a beer I like.  I'm kind of sad my palate just can't tolerate the taste.  Oh well, maybe one day a diamond in the rough will be found.

Jagermeister is the enemy of all God loving creatures.  Tasting its forbidden fruit causes many jams but DAMN! Those jams taste good and fun!

Since the days of my misspent youth I rarely drink nowadays, but when I do and depending on where I am, it's either beer or tequila, straight, no salt or lemon. Most of the time though, it's water, Diet Pepsi/Mountain Dew or coffee...

IF I drink a spirit, it's either good Champagne, a wine cooler or something mild.

Were those also your drinks of choice during your misspent youth?

No beer is great tasting, and I would say that anyone who claims they love the taste of beer, is either trying to impress someone nearby or they are just plain lying. People tend to drink it because their friends do. If averyone they knew was drinking bourbon, odd are, they would be too...
