HO-LEE crap.

Here I was thinking, "Carlos freaking Baerga... JUST the man you need with two outs in the bottom of the ninth with a runner at first."

And I was right (just not the way I meant it).

Holy cow!

Now let's try and get a win!  We can move up on Houston and possibly Philadelphia and Atlanta if we can get it.

We're not gonna make the playoffs but PHiladelphia blew a five run lead and is about to lose and the marlins were up 3-0 and are now tied if they lose, and we win that would better our chances of finsihing at least third in the division

I will not think the playoffs are out of reach until I hear confirmation that the Nationals are eliminated.

Un-fecking-believable.

I am in an office building somewhere in DC, incidentally. I just finished up my work, and turned on the gameday, just in time to see HOME RUN scroll across the screen.

from Carlos Baerga. in RFK.

crazy. just freaking crazy.

O, come on dont pretend like you all didnt see that coming the "heartbreaking nailbiting" Nats had to do it again. Give you false hope and blow in your face just when you started to believe in them. They're so funny like that

I say studies take priority, but has anyone noticed that Guillen has been a REAL LIABILITY coming down the stretch? If he's too injured to play, he should know not to play. It really makes me question the value of a guy that I thought was key to this team when he can't come through when it really counts.

Rz is unstoppable... I'd like him to show power (but his double would have been a homerun in another field, I'm not complaining, he's hitting).

I think, we should forget going to the playoffs and just watch some of the young guys play (short is injured :/ )

I think RZ will display plenty of power next season, say 15-20 HR.  And he will only get stronger over the next 5 years.  Plenty of upside on this guy!
