You guys think we'll see the same or similar fresh-faced lineup tonight or will Frank go back to the vets?

He'll go back with the vets imo. You can't let some regulars sit twice in a row.

I'm just going to make this discussion into the gameday thread.

I thought Guillen was serving a 1-game suspension tonight?

They said it would be delayed if he appealed it. He must have appealed it.

B. Wilkerson lf  .250
R. Short 2b .462
N. Johnson 1b .289
J. Guillen rf  .286
P. Wilson cf .260
R. Zimmerman 3b .381
C. Guzman ss  .211
G. Bennett c .216
E. Loaiza p

Short batting 2nd - I like that.  I thought Guillen was suspended for tonight's game.  Loaiza is my favorite pitcher to watch.

GO NATS!!!

Good evening folks ......

I just cobbled it together myself in photoshop.  It's just the gameday lineups, the mlb.com mugshots, and the W-L, ERA from the nats homepage.

No worries.  I'd really like to figure out an easier way to post the lineups for next season.  I'll probably do some tinkering during the off-season.

Now if *gulp* Bennett can just be a little clutch for us, we might bring home a run

edit - oh well

a pair of 3-hit shutouts going into the 6th.  Man, is it just me or is this a really boring game? :?

Man, I want Bennett out...next year. He's nothing special offensively (a 2nd catcher shouldn't be) but he's also SO SO defensively.

Please, fire his old @$$.

Can somebody tell me what happened?  How does Short get injured on a Trachsel groundout to Zimmerman?

OK Short has a "partial dislocation" of his left shoulder.  Apparently he made a diving play to his back.  He'll be evaluated tomorrow.  I hope he's alright :(
