I'm going to the season ticket holder appreciation event tonight and was planning to bring 3 baseballs. But I've heard that may be waaaay too many. Did any of you attend this past weekend? How many autographs did you get? (Hey, I don't need starters--I'll more than be happy to have a ball signed by the Fickster!)

Anytime you start talking about "balls", the potential for locker room humor exists.  Since 2IPA's is female, it's probably not something she is going to recognize as humor either.

Maybe it's just time to call out Salty on this one, and have him explain it to us....

Well, I remain open to the argument that we men aren't quite a subtle as we think we are sometimes.  But on your second point I agree without reserve, we definitely think we are funnier than women think we are, often.

Damn, I leave for a few hours and all hell breaks loose. FYI--I was late to the season ticketholder event yesterday, so those balls will have to wait for spring training (or for the next National Geographic special or Beavis and Butthead rerun).
