He wasn't there long enough (about as long as JPWH). Bacsik spent more time in our starting rotation than those two put together. So I guess theoretically, as long as we're not counting on the likes of Jerome Williams, Mike Bacsik and JPWH or Mark Prior (as some have suggested) our pitching should improve by default if by no other reason. Can we count on Hill? I'd like to believe that we can but at this point I'm skeptic about that happening (at least not early in the season). Let's keep our fingers crossed on that. Anyway, that leaves Bergmann, Chico, Redding and a crop of about 4 up and comers.

commenting on Houston fans being ejected for a verbal altercation with Paul Lo Duca:

That's totally pitiful...saw them on TV, looked like your garden variety rednecks in golf shirts.  Probably took the F250 to Hooters to round out the evening.

Nationals.com ladies night?  Does that mean you can't score and try to hit the first thing that comes at you?

Chief

Chief in reference to the Nats offensive woes in the game thread (5/31) against Webb.
