that makes 3 "line-outs" to infielders.  if they could just not hit it at people

I wonder what's up with Vidro.  He hit .300 every year until last year.  He's a career .302 hitter, what's up with the .268?

And why can't Livo get a 1-2-3 inning every once in a while?

Edit:  He is a horse, but the reason he throws so many pitches is because he gives up so many hits.

Anyone watching the game on TV?  Who got injured?  Hopefully not a Nat (unless Guzman got hit with a foul ball. ;))

Edit:  That sounded a little harsh.  I don't wish any pain upon Guzman, but I really would like to see him off the field.  And the quicker he gets off, the quicker Zimm gets to play.

Is there a single player on this team who can hit a sac fly?  Let's see, they had the tying run on third with one out in three separate games last week, all of which they lost by one run.  Argh.

cant get mad at bennet. he is not supposed to do much, and i'd say he is reasonably clutch

He has had some big clutch hits this year.  But you're right, he's supposed to fill in for Schneidy when he's tired.  Not supposed to be a big threat.  He's a hell of a lot better than Einar Diaz, though.

he didnt strike out like wilkerson (or whifferson as somebody said once and should be used more oftern or lazy-fly-ball-to-left-erson). probably just missed a sacy fly.
