Although Dick Pole has to be better than Dick Trickle.
I think one comes before the other.   ;)

Flores looks awful at the plate tonight.  The top of our order is doing their job.  The bottom is not.

Now, how will Mike respond to getting back to a tie game?

Hey did anyone read the article at the Nats website where Lerner is praising how well we have played since May 11th and how he talks about how much better this team can be with our injured players healthy? I don't know if Ken's pessimism is getting to me but that troubled me.

Why would that be "troubling"?

Because it seemed like a setup to say that they don't need to write checks because our team is good enough as it is with our injured players back.

That's fine, I'll tell Ted that I don't need any tickets next year because they are obviously satisfied with attendance as it is.   :?

We need to "dispose" of this pitcher, this inning, and get into their bullpen.

Well, that's not likely to happen with an out and the  pitcher at bat.

Great point but what if you already paid for your tickets by the time we realize they won't bring in some offensive help?

He did say that he thinks Manny will be an All Star manager. I wonder if he realizes what that means and how that comes about.

Bacsik really has that opposite field stroke down.

Yep. We have to reclaim the lead.
