I'm watching on gameday why was it a questioanble call

It didn't really get over the wall.  It sort of bounced off the top of the scoreboard.  There was fan interference, and the umpire ruled that w/o the fan interference it would have been an HR.

From what I understand, there was fan interference (or at least the umpire ruled that) at the edge of the stands.  The question is whether the ball would have cleared the fence or not, and I guess some fan stuck his clumsy hand out there.

We need more runs.  Now if we could get them at the bottom of the lineup, that would be sweet.

Read my earlier post.  I explain it pretty succinctly.

If we can't get runs at the bottom of the batting order, at least work the count!  Make him throw pitches!

Crap.  Wilkerson's swinging at slop tonight.

Does that mean Frank has cream-of-wheat for brains?

The Cubs just scored another run in the top of the 1st.

Cubs 2 Astros 0 (of course, the Astros haven't been at bat yet!!!  :P )

He's got a higher BA than Vinny... I just saw that on GameCast (and he's only a little behind Wilkerson)

Hurricane Brad arriving at Citizen's Bank Park tonight.  The eyewall was located right around the wrists of #7 at the plate.

Given that the 'Stros are suddenly looking like the Nationals of July and early August in terms of hitting futility, that means that they are in serious trouble.

Plus they've got Wandy Rodriguez on the mound.

84 pitches?  Wow.  He could easily fail to make it out of the next inning.

Anybody know anything about the Phils' pen?

Now MASN's showing HOWARD making a home run against the NATS from back in April!  Sheesh who are these guys rooting for?

Beautiful.  Livan's sinking into a groove now. Hasn't let a baserunner on since the first save Abreu.

I know outside of their setup man (Urbina) and their closer (Wagner), they suck.

Well you may have a point there I suppose.  But it's annoying as hell.  Every time you are in a clutch situation and you want your pitcher to strike the guy out.  Here comes Mr. Commentary: "Let's take a look at what Bobby Abreu did two months ago against the Nationals...(roll tape of grand slam destruction of nats clip here).

Big Cuba seems to have calmed down.
