Harsh words on Snelling
« Topic Start: June 25, 2007, 03:12:47 PM »
Checking out the latest words on Chris Snelling from CBS Sportsline and Rotoworld:

Rotoworld:
Quote
Because of soreness in his injured left knee, Chris Snelling has stopped playing in a minor league rehab assignment at Triple-A.
No word yet on the severity of Snelling's latest setback, but the A's weren't likely to rush him back anyway.

CBS Sportsline:
Quote
Chris Snelling (knee) has been shut down on his Triple-A rehab assignment.
We've said it before and will again: Cut Snelling. He stinks and cannot get or stay healthy.

Too bad for Chris, he seemed like a decent guy who was giving maximum effort.  Hope he is able to salvage his career.

No question if healthy, Snelling is the better offensive player, but he may never be healthy again.  Langerhans plays superb defense and can be adequate offensively, I believe.

And Langy stays healthy.
