Laz Diaz umping 1B tonight, behind the plate tomorrow.  Gonna be frustrating game tomorrow for both pitchers and batters as the strike zone will be a moving target on each pitch.  At least he sucks for everyone.

This is very uplifting. We are in position to beat one of the most dominant pitchers this yr. Fausto is by far the best of the 3 we will be facing this weekend. So, I'm thinking sweep!

He pitches Monday against Hudson and the Braves.  Tomorrow is Chico VS Byrd.

Quote
Change of plans: Right-hander Jason Bergmann, on the disabled list because of a sore right elbow, will now start against the Braves on Monday instead of Tuesday because the team wants him to pitch on four days' rest. Mike Bacsik will now pitch on Tuesday.

Manager Manny Acta said the Nationals will be careful with Bergmann, who will pitch no more than six innings or around 80 pitches.

awesome! I'm eagerly anticipating his comeback. I'm getting sick of seeing the same mediocre crap over and over - Bowie.

Don't be dissing the man. He's been very good for this team and he will stay in rotation from what I can tell.

Dissing?  He said everyone minus Bowie is "mediocre crap".  I agree with that statement although I would add Chico to Bowie's category of decent starters.

HOw fast is Watson. I remember lsat season he looked like he had better than average sped like Guzman, but never looked like he coiuld really turn it on like Sori or Nook. Is he the second fastest on the team. And is Guzman and Lopez the same speed?
