That popup made me think how few popups the Tigers have hit in this series.  Almost all of their hits have been blazing through the infield when they're not heading for the upper decks!

I'm waiting for some breaking news that we traded for Dukes..that'd make ANY game good for me.
That would be terrible news.. I don't care how "good" this guy is.  Anyone that lives that type of life doesn't even deserve to play on an MLB team.  The team chemistry would go down the tank all because of 1 player.  Why get rid of productive players just for 1 so-called "hot prospect" that can't stay out of trouble?

The move here seemed to work for Dmitri (he strangled his wife I think). Disregard this message if you don't like Dmitri either.

That first pitch was awfully far outside to be a strike.

Come on offense.  Don't force Bacsik to have to match Bonderman, pitch for pitch, in order to have a chance to win this game!

SCORE SOME RUNS!

Is Church batting 6th instead of 5th because Manny wants to do lefty, righty, lefty?

I wouldn't want to play here if I were Church. He seems to get every long hit ball right in front of the wall where it would be out of a lot of other stadiums. He just doesn't have RFK power.

Outrighted to Harrisburg.

Did they mention that on the telecast, or is there a link to an article about it?

I don't understand what you mean by "about damn time."  Church had two hits and a walk in Monday night's game.  Sure he didn't do anything last night, but neither did anyone else.

I was talking about the entire team in general who scored 1 run all of last night and started slow tonight.  Nice inning Mike.

very late call by the umpire there.. And again it looks like we did not scout the opposing pitcher before the game.  All of the hitters look absolutely befuddled.
