Look at Rodney's picture on Yahoo! He's trying way too hard to be gangsta. Hat sideways and a du-rag. Meanwhile, our players like Belly just do it naturally and effortlessly.

nope, just a routine fly ball. it looked like it was going to go far off the bat but it was then evident that he didn't get all of it as the ball floated right to the LF.

pretty sad when we have to use Chief and Rauch in these types of situations.  Manny should have used them earlier in the game when it was tied opposed to Saul/Colome.

Just get the Tigers out of DC, it sucks that after the Tigers owning our lives the 11-1 in inter-league play Indians come to town.

Saul has been terrific - and Jesus, when he's on is very effective - game was tied when they came in - just did not work out -

The Indians offense is licking their chops at the premise of facing us this weekend.  They piled up 26 runs in 3 games this week against the Phillies (8.7 runs per game).  We gave up 32 runs in 3 games (10.7 runs per game) this week against Detroit.

Now that Belly didn't get a hit, I kinda don't like the move by Manny to PH for Watson. It would've been awesome if Watson could've got a hit in a clutch situation like that. Now all he has is a lackluster 0 for night.

I'm serious. Belly is the gangsta of baseball, he is awesome. I love everything about him. The way he plays 2B in the grass of right field and the way his tongue hangs out during at- bats like Michael Jordan. He is the definition of cool.

It won't matter even if he does.  Zim got on to lead-off last inning and not a thing happened.  We just need to finish this game ASAP so they can go home and rest before this weekend's series.

I would've like to seen Watson get that ab. It would've een a nice test for him. ANother bright spot tonite was Schroder. He was effective.

BUt stillm we ahve a problem wiht our bullpen, taht really needs to be adrress. These guys are horrible with inherited runners. BEsides Rauch(historiaclly) and CHief, all teh bullpen guys are horrible when they come in with runners aboard. Thats why i can't wait to see bacsik and Bowie back in the bullpen.

It really was a bad move. Pinch hitting for a hitter (Watson) where you'd have to bat Logan (who isn't a hitter) for the pitcher. I mean, Beliiard's tough, but he's not a hr threat...at all. Not smart, but it's gotta be hard to leave a guy in there that was just called up.

Also, i hope Belly breaks out the Fro' sometime this yr. His corn rows are pretty sweet but nothing beats the fro.

They have to stop walking batters, specifically the ones leading off the inning.  That is always a recipe for disaster.  Now that Ayala and Schroder are here and Speigner and Abreu are gone are bullpen should improve.
1. Chief
2. Rauch
3. Colome
4. Rivera
5. Ayala (maybe higher)
6. Schroder
7. Traber
8. King

C.C Sabathia's on the All-Gangsta Team too.
