Thank goodness this is the last time we see the Tigers for years!

This series has been a NIGHTMARE!!!

Our the Nationals even a real team?? This is just freaking crazy.  I think we would have been better off fielding the Columbus Clippers for tonight's game.  Zim out on 3 pitches and Young flies out on a ball that would have been 10 rows deep in any other ball park.  I'm so sick of this damn park.

And RFK takes one from us on the same night when it gives one up to them...

Well, after being 8 games under a week ago we are now 12 games under. Losing 5 of the last 6. The inter-league owners come to town for the weekend, no telling what could happen. Right now I would say we would get swept, but who knows. This team is so unpredictabale, what they do one day has no bearing on what they do the next.

Cleveland's offense isn't nearly as good as Detroit's.  I don't know how they're in first place in that division.

Good point.  This team has won some crazy extra inning games and then the very next day they get crushed.  I am also expecting a sweep this weekend.  The Indians are every bit as good as the Tigers.  Their offense is just unbelievable.

Air Zimmerman, you are a saint.  Either you used your psychic powers, or read that I was going to a Lake Monsters doubleheader.  Either way, props to you 8)

We suck.  Five runs in a tie game?  C'mon Nats...

and of course we strand the runner at 3rd... all-time most embarrassing series for the Nats. The only reason I'm still watching is to see Ayala/Schroder pitch.

Detroit has more solid players in their lineup.  Cleveland has bigger stars.  Both offenses even out, and are both incredible.

You posted the thread over an our before the game started.  I was assuming you just had some reasoning for that, or maybe you just used your psychic powers to determine that I wasn't gonna be here.

Ya, don't forget about their pitching. Fausto is gonna FaustOWN us. Thankfully C.C. isn't pitching against us, he would devour us. His stuff is filthy.

Yep, Carmona is one of the most dominating pitchers in the AL.  Our game to win for that series is definitely Friday's game.  Bowie, our best starter at this point, VS Byrd, a very beatable pitcher.

I don't know about that one. I would say Sunday, vs Westbrook. Westbrook was getting relatively shelled in his AAA rehab stint in my hometown of Buffalo.

Good inning for Schroder.  Nice to see him K Guillen with his off-speed pitch.

Well at least Schroeder did his job tonight, unlike the rest of the Nats' bullpen

Who would of thunk .. Saul and Jesus struggled mightily and Shroder shuts them down ... if the Nats are going to make a move - now is the time ... must plate some runs in this inning - the tiger's bullpen is vulnerable so I suppose anything could happen.

Batista sucks.  When Fick comes back next week I would send down Batista and keep Watson.
