ACTA SHOULD GET A SAVE OR A WIN

IN LAST night's game. By going out and not arguing with the umpire and talking Lopez into calming down he won the game.

I was glad that the umpire didn't seem to speak Spanish as I suspect he may not have liked what he heard! :lol:

But seriously, I thought Manny did a great job of defusing the situation.

Acta will be credited with the win in his record. But it was Lopez that hit the bases clearing triple.

Regardless of the outcome of this season, Manny Acta shouldn't have to pay for his drinks in DC this WHOLE off season.  What he has done with this "lowly, historically bad team" is nothing short of remarkable and in so little time as manager.

Big things are on the horizon.  This is the man to bring us there.

Its funny, because I recently heard that in the minors he used to be ejected alot and had to calm down if he wanted to end up coaching in the majors some day. Yet here he is stopping an ejection on a bad call from occuring. Good Job Manny.
