doesn't look like Langerhans is going to complete the Ryan - HR sweep.   :(

I'll bet that would be a MLB record.  They said that a MLB record for most Ryan's in a game was set when 6 Ryan's played in the Nationals-Cubs game.  The announcer said there weren't any Ryan's in MLB at all until recent years.

Please, Jon!  The last time he pitched in an 8th inning with a 4-run lead he gave up 3 runs (Traber gave up 1) and the lead.

So basically I'm thinking if Verlander's next start is against the Nats - then he'll be ripe for a shelling ... :)

He just needs to pitch accurately. They can't hit him if he's got his command. It's when he gets behind that he gets smashed.

No Verlander for us!  He's pitching Sunday meaning that he won't pitch in the series against us (Monday-Wednesday).
